 1/  salmon boas
These are a dwarfish hypomelanistic boa originally produced by crossing a dwarf hypo boa from Panamana, maybe Boa constrictor sabogae or mainland Panamanian hypos with ordinary Central American common boas. These breedings produce a range of hypos from very dark and spotty to superb clean animals, one thing learned so far is that outstanding clean animals can and are produced from even dark spotted salmon boas,so for anyone looking to enter this field at a reasonable price, spotted salmons are a good buy,all the brightest salmon boas pictured on this page were produced using a "reject" male and perfectly ordinary common boa females.

This trait is co-dominant so any salmon boa bred to any common boa will produce half a litter of salmons and half of normal boas. Salmon to salmon will produce half a litter of salmons and half of super salmons which will carry both salmon genes and be a dominant trait.

At present working with salmon 50%het albino(Kahl)/salmon 100%het albino(Kahl) these are also called by some double het for sunglow,as sunglows are simply albino salmon boas, also working with visual sunglows, striped salmons/dwarf pastel salmons100% het albino and various abberrant patterned animals that may or may not prove to be genetic.

As a by product of these salmon projects many outstanding common boas are also produced.

2/ Albino boas
Currently working with both Kahl strain and Sharp strain albino, these will and have been bred to salmon boas to produce 100% double hets for sunglow.

3/Striped boas
Various striped boas are being trialled to test genetic performance,so far one of these has proved to be genetic and now the trait needs to be refined further.

4/Also being trialled are a new line of possible jungle boas hopefully this will prove to be genetic and so may get incorporated into other projects if proven.

5/ Pastels, the definition of what constitutes a pastel boa is a little subjective, with one persons pastel being another persons "nice" common boa, however each year the most outstanding commons produced here are kept back to see if their colours/markings are inheritable one such snake is pictured on this page, time will tell if new lines of pastel boa will be produced from any of these.
